Michele Yamazaki is VP Marketing/Web Development Czarina for Toolfarm.com, a value added reseller and distributor of visual effects software. She recently wrote Plug-in with After Effects: Third Party Plug-in Mastery, which came out in June 2011. She co-authored Greenscreen Made Easy: Keying and Compositing Techniques for Indie Filmmakers with Jeremy Hanke, published in 2009 by MWP. She co-authored Greenscreen Made Easy: Keying and Compositing Techniques for Indie Filmmakers with Jeremy Hanke, published in 2009 by MWP, and was a contributing author to After Effects @ Work, with Richard Harrington, published by CMP in 2006.Michele began her career at Postworks in Grand Rapids, MI, where she worked as a motion graphics artist for 10 years. She has previously taught After Effects and Photoshop at Kendall College of Art and Design. In 2001 she launched AEFreemart.com and in 2002 she and Matt Schirado co-founded West Michigan Animation and Effects User Group. She is past-president of Media Communications Association International Mid-Michigan and a former board member of West Michigan Film and Video Alliance.Michele has a B.A. in Communications from Grand Valley State University.
