Book Presentation:
This book is part of a monumental box set of 16 CDs to celebrate 25 years of collaboration between Tim Burton and composer Danny Elfman.
Review by Romain Petit on https://lecture.romainpetit.fr:
After a biography of Danny Elfman and Tim Burton (brief for the latter), a complete retrospective of 25 years of cinema by Danny Elfman and Tim Burton (from their beginnings to Alice in Wonderland and the traveling exhibition dedicated to Tim Burton), focusing on their musical collaboration, in other words Elfman's music for Burton's films, but without forgetting the projects on which they worked independently. Richly documented with interviews as well as illustrated with photos from the set (and some childhood photos), sketches by Tim Burton and scores by Danny Elfman. Inserts return to people linked to the different films. This book is part of a box set with the complete film scores composed by Danny Elfman for Tim Burton.
